No biking today. Total Miles: 1,268 Temp hit 99 f. today. Good day for rest and repair and lots of eating!!
To date we have been riding for 12 1/2 days, with 4 1/2 days of rest. Mostly favorable weather, except for yesterday. Five flats (all on the rear!), one ruined tire, two broken or lost helmet mirrors, one punctured air mattress, and one dead tent!! All in all, nothing that really impacts us and we are grateful for all the prayers and support of our many friends.
Enjoyed a home cooked Chinese meal Penny prepared at a table out by the pool of the motel we found to stay at. Topped it off with DQ for dessert.
Found an early worship service for the morning, then riding 97 miles to Montell, where we will spend the night. Until next time.
