We are past the half way point!!! Reaching Florida now seems a definite possibility!
Today was our 8th day in Texas. It truly is a gigantic state! No flat tires to deal with, and most of the day was uneventful, with scenery very similar to that of yesterday. Sunny skies, mild wind, and rural countryside. Although named the "Lone Star State", we believe Texas could very well be the "Long Horn state".
We are on to College Station tomorrow, home town of Texas A&M University (known as the Aggies). There we will be hosted yet again by Young Life staff, which we are looking forward to very much.
Yours on the Road (a bit weary),
Don and Penny
